Who We Are
What began as a small collaboration between two friends has grown into a respected design studio that blends our distinct strengths and shared creative vision. Inspired by the values that shape our families, we set out to build a business rooted in warmth, trust, and intention. The name House of ELM is a heartfelt tribute to our first daughters; Emma Lahey and Leela Muñoz—whose initials remind us daily why we do what we do.

Principle Designer & Founder
When a business degree meets a creative career, you get Jackie; where aesthetic sensitivity is matched by strategic budgeting. With a background in costuming and a love for textiles, color, and detail, her interiors are always thoughtful, layered, and full of personality. Trained in design and refined by experience in the Hamptons, she brings a quiet confidence to every project, turning instinct into atmosphere.
Meet Jacqui,
Principle Designer & Founder
A lifelong design devotee with a BFA from Fashion Institute of Technology, Jacqui brings creative passion and seasoned know-how to every space. Her early career included work with AD100 and Elle Decor A-List designers, shaping a sharp eye for detail and a vision for polished, livable style. As a mom of three, she knows that form means nothing without function—and believes great design should feel effortless, personal, and never too precious.
